Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing our recording studio subscription service. We are excited to provide you with a professional and convenient platform to pursue your passion for music. Please carefully review the following terms and conditions that outline the details of your subscription:

1. Subscription Fee & Confidentiality: The monthly fee for our recording studio subscription service is 500ghc, payable in advance at the beginning of each month or 30-day period of choice. This fee covers access to our studio facilities for recording purposes only. Kindly note that all recordings, content or work stored or kept inside the studio is protected from any copyright infringement amongst SongRites' staff. However, SongRites will not be held liable to be involved in form of any litigation or handle any legal affairs regarding any client-owned content stored in the Studio in cases of data loss outside said client's session hours.

2. Session Duration: Each day's session is limited to a maximum of 2 hours. This ensures fair usage and allows us to accommodate all subscribers efficiently. Should the number of hours per day available to a specific active member increase, an extra charge of 100ghc per extra hour will be applied. However, this is only applicable on the condition that the said active member is able to contact and confirm with the SongRites operations manager that the extra hour(s) being requested will not create any form of inconvenience to the studio's commitment to any/all its active members nor staff - All extra hour payments must be finalized and completed before a time slot will be granted.

Kindly note that full discretion may be applied by the SongRites Administration where seen fit to ensure that this inconsistency with one active member does not affect the consistency of another active member.

3. Service Use: Members who make use of our remote or in-session beat production and mixing & mastering services will receive a 50% discount for these services and will be charged per song by virtue of having an active subscription. Revision cycles for these remote services are a maximum of 3 per remote service requested. Should the number of revision cycles per remote service requested increase, full discretion will be applied by the SongRites Administration where seen fit.

4. Royalties: An unchangeable nor irrevocable royalty percentage of 50% of all performance, mechanical and all or any other forms of publishing royalties excluding streaming and master royalties will be automatically due to be paid to our beatmakers or producers as songwriters or composers by virtue of they delivering beat production services to clients or members for a song that has been released or has been made available for commercial use. This portion of royalties will be administered solely by SongRites with prior notice given to the client or member before or during the production phase and also after the commercial release of the production upon which the client or member will then be presented a split sheet agreement from SongRites to be signed in order to legally execute this royalty share in full effect and without controversy.

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy: To book or cancel a session, please contact our operations manager at least 24 hours in advance.

6. Studio Etiquette: We expect all subscribers to treat our studio facilities with respect and adhere to good studio etiquette. Any damage caused by negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the subscriber, and repair costs may apply.

7. Equipment Usage: Our recording studio provides high-performance equipment necessary for recording purposes only, including microphones, headphones, and audio interfaces. Additional equipment may be available upon request.

8. Non-Refundable Fee: Please note that the subscription fee is non-refundable once paid. We do not offer refunds or credits for unused sessions or cancellations. We also do not offer any refunds for monies paid for remote beat production services and mixing & mastering services requested within the membership.

9. Compliance with Laws: Subscribers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and copyright requirements while using our recording studio facilities.

10. Extension of Subscription: All members with an active studio subscription service must kindly note that subscription session slots are not transferrable to non-members nor are the slots transferrable to time periods outside the original 30 day window of a currently valid subscription. Should a member’s subscription period be a extended outside their original 30-day window, full discretion will be applied by the SongRites Administration where seen fit.

11. Termination of Subscription: Either party may terminate this subscription agreement by providing written notice at least 30 days before the desired termination date or in case of a member not wanting to renew a subscription, he or she simply not making payment for the incoming subscription period, therefore said member will have their membership access and benefits temporarily revoked until a new payment is made for the purpose of a renewal.

By subscribing to our recording studio service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms of service and agree to abide by them throughout the duration of your subscription. 1. Service Charges: All charges associated with our intermediary setup services are one-time and non-refundable under any circumstance. Once payment has been made for a specific service or package, it cannot be reversed or refunded.

2. Music Distribution: Our team will assist you in setting up and authenticating your music distribution channels across various platforms and streaming services and give you full and exclusive access and control of all related accounts. However, please note that we do not offer any form of marketing with this package and therefore we do not guarantee any specific results or performance outcomes from these distribution efforts. Kindly note that the music distribution setup service comes with basic playlist pitching to music stores however this is not supposed to be considered as a foolproof marketing campaign that provides guaranteed results because this service is mainly focused on setting up the artist accounts across multiple stores and streamlining the process of releasing music in the future as a self-service whereby the artist is in full control of their accounts without any intermediary. For a more effective marketing campaign specifically focused on growing your music audience online, kindly book a consultation session and discuss with our experts.

3. Music Publishing: Our experts will guide you through the process of song registration and administration of your musical works to secure both performance and mechanical royalties earned by your music catalogue. We give you full and exclusive access and control of all related accounts. While we strive to provide accurate information and advice on publishing strategies, it is important to acknowledge that success in the competitive field of music publishing may vary.

4. Music Business Consultancy: Our experienced consultants will offer guidance on various aspects of the music business such as marketing strategies, branding initiatives and revenue generation opportunities. Various custom services with custom pricing may be developed and presented to you based on the specific problem to be solved after consultation with experts. Kindly note the all service charges including fees charged for but not limited to the consultation fee and the custom services developed are all non-refundable. However, please be aware that the ultimate decision-making authority lies with you as the artist or owner.

5. Royalty Advance Services: We offer royalty advance options to eligible artists based on their projected earnings from their musical works. These advances are subject to specific terms and conditions which will be communicated during the application process. All applicants of our royalty advance opportunities that qualify for an offer are required to pay a non-refundable administration fee prior to being presented with their offer details. All applicants who do not qualify for an offer are automatically refunded hence, no offer is presented to them.

6. Ownership Rights: By utilizing our services for any aspect related to your musical works or intellectual property rights within the scope of this agreement (including but not limited to music distribution setup or publishing administration), you confirm that you are the rightful owner or have obtained the necessary permissions and licenses of the musical works involved in your dealings with SongRites Ltd.
